Youth Work in Trades
Are you currently in grade 10, 11 or 12 and working in a skilled trade?
Whether you're gaining experience as a prep cook in a restaurant, working on a construction site, in an auto shop, or at a hair salon — you could be eligible for the Youth Work in Trades program.
This program lets you earn up to 16 graduation credits while combining paid, hands-on work experience with industry-recognized training. By registering as a youth apprentice, your work hours count toward completing an apprenticeship in your chosen trade.
