Are you curious about what it’s like to host an international high school student in your home?
 

Join us on November 5, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM for an International Student Program Information Session to learn more about becoming a Homestay Host in ҹɫapp.

 

This is a great opportunity to meet our team, ask questions, and find out how hosting a student can enrich your home and our wider community. Our upcoming info session will help you understand what’s involved, the support you’ll receive, and how to apply for our winter 2026 intake of international students. 

Why We’re Recruiting

We’re currently welcoming 15 new students arriving in January, and we’re looking for families to host them! In addition, our need for hosts is ongoing throughout the year to support short-term respite placements, student moves, and future arrivals.

What’s Involved in Hosting

  • A safe, welcoming home environment
  • Parental supervision and guidance
  • A private bedroom and secure Wi-Fi connection
  • Three healthy meals and snacks daily
     
     

What Hosts Receive

  • $1050 monthly compensation per student
  • Training, coaching, and ongoing support
  • A collaborative, team-based approach with our local international program coordinators

Everyone Is Welcome

From retirees to young families, our hosts come from all walks of life, with the common goal to create a sense of belonging for students from around the world.

 

Join us on November 5th at the SD72 school board office to learn more and take the first step toward becoming a Homestay Host here in ҹɫapp.
