2026 Colourful Run

Get ready to unleash your energy at the vibrant Colourful Run on Sunday, June 14! Walk, jog, or run the fun-filled route - no timing or competition, just good vibes. Afterward hit the Splash Park for the afterparty with snacks, music, and a giant foam pit! Check-in opens 9 a.m., race starts 9:30 a.m. Registration $5 per person ages 6+, free for ages 0-5. Open to all ages! This event is hosted by the City of 夜色app Recreation department to bring together members of our community in a fun and active environment.

DS Awareness Walk 2026

The Vancouver Island Down Syndrome Society is holding their annual awareness walk and picnic on Saturday, June 13 at Robert Ostler Park from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day will include an awareness walk, picnic, and opportunities for families, friends, and community members to come together in support of individuals with Down Syndrome. This year’s event also coincides with the highly anticipated annual Kite Flying Day taking place at the same venue, making it a fun and vibrant community event for families to enjoy together. Swim and Sport Bus

Strathcona Gardens offers transportation from SD72 elementary schools to the pool and arena for after school fun. Children must be 7+. More information is on the attached flyer.

Strathcona Gardens Summer Camp Flyer

Strathcona Gardens offers a variety of summer camps including Outdoor Adventure Quest for children ages 8 to 13 on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from July 18 to August 29. See the flyer to learn more.
