Through Elm Alternate School, young people can obtain a Dogwood certificate (high school diploma), or a grade 10 or grade 12 equivalency certificate.

Students that are referred to the program work at their own pace, either full day programs or morning or afternoon programs, supported by a teacher. 

Elm Alternate is totally flexible. Students referred by their catchment school may start at any time during the school year and leave when they have completed the program.
